1. Joint meeting with Society of Experimental Mechanics and Exelon

Date: November 7, 2007

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Location: 141 Loomis

Many students from the Chicago area are familiar with Com-Ed, one of Exelon's largest brands. As Exelon seeks to be the number one energy provider in its regions and grow its business, it is aggressively seeking engineers to fulfill positions. As you enjoy a free dinner catered by Za’s, come attend this informational session where Exelon representatives will be on-hand to address interesting facts about the company and answer any questions you may have. There will be no PowerPoint presentation; this session will be informal and based heavily on student input. Representatives will also be available to discuss internship possibilities primarily geared at underclassmen.

2. Peer Advising

Date: Tuesday, November 6th, 207

Time: 5-7 pm

Location: By the tables in MEL

This is a great opportunity for underclassmen to come get advice from real students, upper class men in MechSe, and dinner will be served.
