1. Karaoke Night

Date: November 15^th

Time: 10 PM – whenever

Place: Geovanti’s

 

Come and sing the night away with us! ASME is hosting a karaoke night at Geovanti’s this Wednesday, November 15^th. This will be a lot of fun, so come on out and bring your friends! For any more info, contact social chair Kaz Haruna at kharun2@uiuc.edu.

 

 

2. Pool Tournament

 

ASME will be holding a pool tournament on Friday, December 1^st starting at about 3 or 4 PM. Two people per team, winning team gets prizes! Signups will be after break, so get your team together now! For more info, contact Kaz Haruna at kharun2@uiuc.edu.

 

 

3. Holiday Tree / Ornament Sale

 

There are lots of philanthropy events coming up in December! Look for our Tree in MEL after break. We will be selling Ornaments that you can decorate. The proceeds will go to the family ASME has adopted for the Champaign Women in Transition Holiday Adopt-a-Family Drive. Look for a Holiday Food drive also. Possibly a bake sale too! Getting involved in any way will earn you ASME participation points, aka more chances at the end of semester prizes! Even just bringing canned goods to donate wins you points!  Please email Sarah at sbrewer2@uiuc.edu if you would like to get involved in any of these events.

 

 

4. ASME Committees

 

It is definitely not too late to get involved with an ASME committee! Committees are a great way to get more involved with ASME, meet new friends, network, and are a great resume booster!
