  1. MechSe Peer Advising

Date: November 6

Time: 5-7pm

Place: 2001 MEL

Looking for some advice on which electives or GenEds to take, or how to successfully balance your schedule?  Get some help before registration from upperclassmen and graduate students while enjoying a delicious meal from Longhorn Steakhouse.  This is an informal event with plenty of upperclassmen that have been in your shoes, so drop by anytime between 5 and 7pm!

  1. ASME Committees

It is definitely not too late to get involved with an ASME committee! Committees are a great way to get more involved with ASME, meet new friends, network, and are a great resume booster! For more information on the committees that are available, see http://asme.ec.uiuc.edu/committees.htm and feel free to email any exec board member for more info.

That’s it for this week. There’s not a whole lot going on. Happy Halloween!
